Business Advisory Firm Expands Capabilities
Cleveland, OH – May 5, 2014 — BDS Inc., a business advisory and growth services firm, named Donald Majcher as CEO & Managing Partner. In his new role, Majcher will work with clients in the areas of strategic planning, operations, capital connections and financial restructuring.
Majcher brings to BDS significant expertise working with middle market and large enterprises, and a strong network of working relationships within the aerospace, energy, engineered materials and manufacturing and distribution sectors. He has been very active in global growth and international expansion and has worked with many regional companies to develop international growth strategies, business partnerships, and solutions to trade and export issues. He has also been active in the tech sector, working with startups and growth companies to develop commercialization plans, innovation strategies and co-create relationships with funders, universities and government labs.
BDS Founder and President, Christine Stadler, says the addition of an accomplished C-level executive with deep experience working within medium-sized and larger organizations has been in the planning stages for some time. “Don enjoys an outstanding reputation of working successfully with business owners and senior executives of diverse companies to realize significant improvements in operating results and top and bottom line revenue growth,” Stadler noted in making the announcement.
Majcher’s career spans more than a dozen years with BP where he had both domestic and international responsibilities, several years as an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company, and senior executive roles with Applied Industrial, The Lubrizol Corporation and, most recently, the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI). At OAI, he was Vice President, Technology and Innovation Partnerships, where he worked with more than 100 companies involved in aerospace, defense and technology. His accomplishments there resulted in his being named in 2013 as an Ohio Commodore by Gov. Kasich in recognition of his achievements in economic development for the State of Ohio.
